Many people these days are going through their lives in chronic, often debilitating pain. The causes are many and can include poor diet, injuries that never healed properly, or having to do repetitive motions or positions that damage the body over time. Take the example of an UBER driver I recently met.

I’ve been taking UBER to and from work for a few weeks now because of the new flat rate (thanks UBER!!!). In the morning I pray the rosary on my earphones so I don’t talk much. Going home is different.

One driver was in a chatty mood and she told me about how she had an accident at work and in the years since had different kinds of surgeries on her back and also her wrist for carpal tunnel. Unfortunately, the wrist surgery cut the nerve that was causing the pain but left her with almost no strength in that wrist. The back surgeries also didn’t work out. She actually has to sleep on a yoga ball because sleeping in bed causes pain from her lower back down to her left foot.

That is a horrible way to live!

Thankfully, it doesn’t have to be that way. You see, there are a lot of people out there suffering because they are not aware they have options.
